In five years of the job, this is the first time I’ve heard that statement from my boss who hated using CRMs. 5 years ago, our old CRM was bought out by a major CRM provider and we struggled with their clunky replacement for three painful years. I had a good chance to demo the software and find out how it worked and what it could do before making the jump. I was impressed at the time, but due to the development cycle, it had come on leaps and bounds by the time we went live with it. We hit the ground running with them in early 2023 and are not looking back. The level of customisation is immense and can be a bit of a learning curve if you’re not technically-minded. But support are responsive and always on hand to provide a prompt answer. Being able to set defaults for this and that, and switch things on and off is fantastic. Over the course of nearly a year of using it so far, little tweaks here and there have really helped us fit Apex27 to the way we work. It’s the neat agent-minded little features that I really like: Automated emails for responding to leads, automated viewing confirmations and cancellations, property specific notes/warnings when booking viewings, email reminders for safety certificate expiries and inspections that need to be booked, hovering over a diary appointment to see which key number you need when you’re about to rush out of the office… the system has been built with actual busy estate agents in mind. You can even add property-specific instructions for viewers that go out with the viewing confirmations - perfect for properties in unusual locations. Every Thursday the software is updated. Feature requests are taken seriously, and often implemented the following week (if very simple) or a few weeks later (for more complicated requests) and I’ve had loads granted. Apex27 has helped us streamline our business. Basic tasks take seconds rather than minutes, more complicated tasks take around a third of the time they used to. Information is to hand where we need it, and if not, it’s usually only a single click away. It really does help us keep track of where we’re at with sales progress, with viewings and interest, offers, and what needs to be done with various leads. Using Apex27 we can really track where we’re at with everything at a glance. With partial automation on the booking process and regular communications, it frees up our time and headspace to concentrate on providing the service we’re known for to our buyers and sellers.
